Best baby mat I’ve seen
I waffled for a long time about which mat to buy for our baby’s play area. We wanted a soft mat but I hated the ugly primary colors of most foam mats. The set up of our small house makes the living room the best place for this mat, and I wanted something pretty. However, I waited for a long time because this lovely mat was quite expensive. Honestly, it is worth it.The mat is nice quality, soft, durable, and looks great! Our daughter did tummy time, rolled over, learned to sit up, crawl, and then to walk on this mat. She obviously tipped over on this mat a million times and it makes a huge difference. The times she has fallen on the wood floor are obviously so much more painful; we are so glad she had this mat to cushion her most of the time. And it is really attractive. The colors are soft and harmonize with the rest of our house. There are many ways to arrange the tiles, and it comes with extra edge tiles so you can match the colors in whatever pattern you decide to use. They tiles did have a mild odor on arrival which dissipated with a day of airing on the porch. They are easy to clean and have no impact at all on our wood floor. Our daughter is now almost a year old and does sometimes pull the tiles up, but the are easy to pop back in place. The biggest problem we have is that our dog scratches them; the scratches are actually not too noticeable at all. They don’t accumulate hair or dirt. Many visiting parents have asked us where we found this mat. I’m glad I finally bought it!

From Tummy Time to Play-Doh and beyond…
This beautiful mat is an investment piece. I can see baby using this for quite a few years, so it’s totally worth not having something that doesn’t fit with our decor. Also, it’s huge, and the design options are endless. It also makes her room look so cute. We don’t buy a lot of baby stuff or a lot of stuff in general, because our apartment is tiny, but when we do, we want it to be high-quality and fit with the overall look of our home when possible. In a small apartment, every item impacts the way our home looks and feels. With that said, we love this play mat. It’s everything you’d want: sturdy, yet cushions well, easy to clean, easy to assembly, AND it doesn’t look cheap. It’ll grow with little baby well into to childhood!

Great Pad for Baby on Hardwood or Tile Floors
Bought this pad to put on hardwood floors for visiting newborn grandbaby. It provides good cushioning (also for our knees =) but isn’t too squishy, so should be easy for a toddler to walk on. Quick & easy to assemble; no instructions nec. I like that both the size & pattern can be varied, as this appears to be very good quality, so probably will be around for a while. Haven’t needed to clean it yet, but it looks like it would wipe clean easily with a wet cloth.

Exactly what we wanted!
When our little one stared crawling & pulling to stand, we realized our thin rug / carpet pad over our hardwood floors wasn’t going to cut it anymore. All the tumbles she taking were a bit rough. We looked into the ridiculously expensive interlocking mats, but just couldn’t justify the price paid as she would conquer crawling, standing & eventually walking within a few months & the mats wouldn’t be as much of a necessity. Not only are these Skip Hop mats well priced, they’re extremely versatile in the design, match our decor perfectly & definitely soften the blow of falling compared to our other rug! They’re SO easy to clean (wet & dry spills) and have held up to numerous beatings over the last couple weeks we’ve had them! We ordered two sets and were able to achieve (roughly) a 10×8 “area rug” with having a few pieces & many edge pieces left over! We’re thrilled with our purchase!!

Easy to clean
We’ve been using the Skip Hop Baby Play Mat for about 5 years now, and it’s still going strong! It’s super soft and safe for the kids to play on. The only downside is if something hard sits on it, it can leave a mark, but that’s pretty minor. Overall, it’s been a really great and durable mat.

Perfect for my son’s room
We have an all tile house and I was worried about my son’s room when he would be big enough to start playing on the floor. Well these are so great and much better than having a rug.. we’ve already had multiple throw up spells and spills on them and it’s so easy to clean and wipe off. It’s a somewhat hard surface but padded enough for him to comfortably play on, and when he falls and bumps his head on it, I’m not worried because it’s soft enough to protect him. Looks cute too! I love how you can choose the design and change it up if you get bored of it. These colors can go with anything too!

I cannot describe how much I love this Playmat!
I was obsessing for far too long about what to get, and at first I got a very large and somewhat expensive rug. It needed a carpet pad to be soft enough for my little one, and also an antislip pad because the thing kept moving all over the place. It was constantly shedding which of course my little one LOVED to put into her mouth. After being completely disgusted by the rug and asking some girlfriends about what they used, I did another search on the internet and found the Skip Hop Playmat. I didn’t really like the multiple color ones. We have a smallish apartment, and I wanted something that would be good for our little one and stylish.Yes, it’s pricey when you start having to get a few of them, but honestly it was much cheaper than a box store rug from C&B, West Elm, or wherever. Also, you can make whatever design you like. I did a slated stripe design, and I think it’s very pretty. It is so easy to clean (spills are no problem unlike that dang rug), and while there are some scratches it’s very hard to see them. Hope this review helps!

Aunque es un poco cara, el precio lo amortizas un montón. Lo compré cuando mi bebe tenia 4 meses y ahora ya tiene 8 y sigue jugando encima de ella.

If you are looking for something a little bit more stylish and less childish than normal play mats, this is the one for you. My daughter who is 8 months plays on the mat all day long and has no bumps or bruises as the mats are really think and durable. I was a bit worried about paying so much for a play mat but it is such good quality that I know it will last. It is also nice and big so you don’t need to buy many packs to make a decent size mat. I would definitely buy this again. Love it!

Lo único por lo que le pongo una estrella menos es por el precio. Es bueno, pero excesivo su costo.

I was looking for the right play mat for my baby then I found this one with positive reviews. I decided to have this, my baby really love it and I also can have a good nap with her. Very comfortable. The size is just good. It came with extra edge pieces as well. Don’t hesitate to get if you are looking for a comfortable mat for your baby ❤️
