We have been using this play mat for two weeks now and my baby loves it. It was very easy to assemble and I really like the variety of colors. I particularly like the end borders, which not only make it look nicer, but also protect the jagged edges of each piece from getting bent. The mat has just the right degree of softness, not too soft so that you sink into it, but not too hard either. It is actually very pleasant to walk on. The size is perfect. Right now we are using 25 tiles out of the 36 it comes with. When the baby is more mobile, we will use the remaining tiles. My baby loves rolling around on it and the baby's knees, elbows and head do not get irritated, scratched or sore. In addition, the mat is very easy to clean. We usually first sweep it with a swiffer and then spray it with a light disinfectant every day. When it comes to durability, I guess it depends on what you throw at it. I am sure that sharp items such as pencils would easily make a hole. I have noticed that items such as the napper or my laptop leave indentations on the mat. These indentations disappear after quite a few hours. Therefore I think that this mat is perfect for babies of up to 2 years maximum, but not for older babies, which are bound to be stronger and more resourceful when they play on the surface. Since my baby is way younger than 2 years, I am sure we will get a lot of mileage out of this mat before we need to move to something more durable. All in all, highly recommended for babies less than 2 years old.

WHY I PURCHASED FOAM TILES?
We're getting a puppy soon and I thought it would be a good idea to place foam tiles in the puppy's exercise/playpen. Figured it'd be easier to clean any accidents off them. I haven't had to do that yet! But when I do, and if for any reason the tiles don't prove to be anti-absorbent or easy to clean, then I'll update the review accordingly.
But here's what I can say about the tiles right now!
PROS & CONS
– They came well packed. Not damage to any of the tiles. They were very easy and quick to put together. No issues with tiles not fitting properly into place.
– Colors are good, but not nearly as vibrant as displayed in the stock photo. That's not a deal breaker for me. But thought I should point it out.
– They offer some cushion, but not a lot. I would have been nicer if they were a bit thicker.
– Some reviewers mentioned that the tiles emitted a foul smell. Some even said that the tiles were slippery. The batch that I received had no foul smell and neither was it slippery. Perhaps an improvement made by the manufacturer.
OVERALL QUALITY:
The overall quality seems fine. But the playpen that I have currently placed on the tiles (pic attached) isn't that heavy at all. Yet when I move it, I am seeing (minor) indentations form on the tiles. This playpen has only been on there for 2 days. I guess I'll see how the tiles hold-up over a period of time. I do expect wear and tear. But if they don't hold-up at all, then I'll update the review accordingly.
But for now, I am quite pleased with the purchase.!

These are beautiful!! And sturdy!! And perfect for my school where we use these for our kids to sit on the cold concrete floor!

I always read the reviews before buying any product, specially when I buy stuff for my baby. I read many reviews about play mats and decided to order this one because it was one of the few that clearly specified that are free of harmful chemicals. The notes says that the product was supposed to arrived in three weeks but I was willing to wait. Since I have a prime account, for my surprise, the product arrived in just three days. I cannot be happier! The mat is big enough for me to use the mat as I want. I actually decided to divide it in two sections covering an area in our living room and our office so our baby can be playing while we do our daily duties. The mat has not odor at all and offers a great cushioning. My baby can roll over and play without any risk of hitting her head on a hard surface or so. I also like the fact that the mat comes with borders so it can be put together as wanted and still it look good. On thing that really surprised me a lot was that, accidentally I rolled my office chair on top of it and made a mark on the mat.. the mat came back to its original shape in few hours and the mark is almost unnoticeable. I am very please with my purchase, great quality, great price and fast delivery…I really recommend it.

Love these! This is the second set I bought. The first didn’t have enough tiles for the amount of coverage I needed for my catio. The wooden floor of our balcony had gaps in it, and I didn’t want cat litter to rain down on our downstairs neighbor when the litter was inevitably going to be kicked out of the boxes. This makes clean up a breeze 😺 very happy with my purchase, and it’s fun creating new patterns!
