Perfect mat HOWEVER unable to clean
My daughter purchased this mat for my grandson’s play pen and thought it was perfect! Soft, thick, educational, it came vacuum sealed so no weird smells and it’s animal specific (we are animal lovers and my grandson’s nursery and toys are specifically safari-themed) however when she took it out of the package to wash it before initial use, she realized there’s no way to take the covering off. This would mean she would need to get a new covering or new mat all together if there are any stains/dirt that cannot come out.Giving this 5 stars because there is more good to say about it than not and specifically because there is no unicorn on it, a unicorn is not a real animal…just to be clear y’all. A sea Urchin is a real animal and apparently it’s hard to find a play mat that is animal specific without a unicorn on it. It just shows how lazy some sellers are. Just google it smh.

Baby soft heaven
This playmat is a must buy. Like so many today, we have hardwood floors and our grandson is rolling over and starting to scoot/crawl. We were concerned about him hitting his mouth or head on the floor. We purchased the baby play mat and could not be happier. It is thick, soft, and comfortable. We ordered large size (71×59) and its a great size. Way larger than the area of a playpen and offers him plenty of room to move all around while practicing his crawling moves:) Quality is great, soft, thick. I love the gray color, allows us to see easily if anything falls on it. Others complained of smell, we did not have any issues with that aside from the normal packaging of a new item smell. I sat it the sun for a day to air out of any packaging smell. Then I laid it out for 2 days to poof up completely and it did. Easy breezy and worth it.

I want one in every room
Completely obsessed with this play mat for my little one! It fits our harppa play pen perfectly. Allows for soft surface for baby to play without worrying they fall or drop their head on the tile surface. It’s a decent thickness for adults. Definitely better than when I would lay on the carpet with the baby. Our baby loves looking at the patterns on the mat so I’m happy to have gone with the designs versus a solid color (even though it would look so much better in my modern styled house lol)

This is the best mat for teaching babies to crawl and encouraging them to spend more time on their tummies, as it is very well-cushioned and very soft for them

Quality mat, very happy.
I love this mat, soooo soft and comfy. My little one loves the bright colors and feel of it too. Definitely recommend! It is not intended to put in the washing machine but I did when I first received it due to a the minor chemical smell. Definitely recommend using a large washer & dryer (air dry setting) at a laundry mat. I also don’t plan to wash it like that again though was just a 1 time thing as i don’t want to mess up the foam. I feel it will be easy to spot clean moving forward.

Super soft and thick cushion. Perfect size for tummy time, beginner crawlers, and even napping. My only problem is keeping the rest of the family from lying on it. If anything happens to this one I’m ordering another one immediately. 10/10 recommend.
