Better than expected
We are using these to keep a family member with dementia out of a cabinet in the kitchen. He had gotten through all of the basic child locks we tried, so we thought this combination lock might be better.After reading the reviews, I was fully expecting them to be much more flimsy than they actually are. I am fairly confident he won’t be able to, or even consider, trying to break it. If he did though, I would worry a little about the plastic scratching his hands. So for someone who is on the destructive side, this might not be what you are looking for.So far, they’ve successfully kept him out of the cabinet we needed him to stay out of. I love that this came with four locks, so we have backups locks if one breaks.Also based on reviews, I’ve decided not to reprogram the lock code. I don’t want to risk bricking the lock, and the default code, which is 000, is perfect for everyone in the house to remember.This is an excellent buy for both young children and dementia patients. It will be less useful for dishonest teens and adults as it can probably be broken pretty easily. I’d give this a 10/10 rating for the purposes states above.

These are plastic and snap easily.
These are low-quality, but functional enough to keep toddlers out of things. They are made of plastic, so one of ours snapped the first day, but they were very easy to install and remove.

Excellent safety lock set
These were excellent, until my daughters figured out the codes hahahaLuckily, you can change the codes. Just need to get around to do it.Definitely buy 2 bags though, I ran out quickly lol

Work okay but super cheap and weak.
These work well but are not sturdy at all. One of them literally exploded into pieces in my hand when I went to press the button after a week or two of use (it just fell apart but a spring inside caused pieces to shoot all over the kitchen, it was really funny actually). Another other one cracked and fell into two pieces shortly after. If anyone tried to force these off they could break them very easily.

You get what you pay for
These are sturdy enough, although easily broken up if needed when the unlocking mechanism doesn’t work (yes, that happened). The twirling dials are hard to use and even when you are lucky enough to finally get the numbers properly lined up, they don’t always unlock. These might be ok to keep a child out of a cupboard etc., but if you have to access the area frequently (and with these locks I’d consider once a day frequently), these are very inconvenient to use. I wouldn’t recommend these locks to anyone and it is one of the worst online purchases I have made in a long time.

Perfect for locking cabinet doors.
Don’t want your teenagers and their friends drinking when they are underage? Simply buy these and lock that liquor up tight. Easy to set up and use and you don’t have to worry!

Pretty cheaply made, in my opinion. Two of the four jammed and wouldn’t unlock. Even the ones that did work were difficult to get the lock on and off. Ended up returning them.
