Awesome book for suggestions of things to do with your toddler
This is a great book that has a ton of activities to do with your toddler. I really like using this book to help with weekend activity ideas for my child, especially in the winter while we are stuck indoors more often due to the cold weather. I like that the activities are fairly easy to prep for and that there are wide assortment of activities to chose from.

Great for at home learning and play!
I got this to reduce activity planning time for my homeschool and also to get ideas for things to occupy the younger kids my 5 year old does independent work and it’s perfect! The book is broken up into types of activities (art, outdoor play, etc) and each activity includes the prep time, materials needed, and the skills the child is using/ developing. I was a little concerned about the materials for the activities adding up to a big expense but that’s not the case! Most materials were already what we have or very inexpensive. There are various tips throughout the book as well as different options and adaptations for the activities. Will be using this for many years to come!

Helpful!
I was emergency daycare for my grandchild and was finding it hard to think of anything creative due to the stressful nature of the situation. The ideas in the book really were things you could do with stuff around the house and there was indeed educational value to the suggested activities. Leafing through it, you’re inspired with other ideas. There’s a wide range of activities for different ages and skill levels and the activities can be “scaled” depending on your child’s ability level.

Parent intensive
I was disappointed that these activities require a lot of a parent time. You cannot just set the toddler up and then there’s something else.

Overall great book.
Cute ideas here. I like how it gives you options to make it more exciting or slightly more challenging for an older child or to simplify for a younger child. It gives great tips and info on safety and age appropriate milestones etc. It’s overall a great purchase

Activities are easy and fun
Have done several of these activities with my toddler. He loves them, and they often spur new games as we evolve in play. Have gifted this to others, since. Definitely recommend.

Practical Activities for toddlers
Absolutely the best activities for toddlers! Easy setup with many materials I already have. My grandson loves each activity we try.

Liked it however for older children, not really useful for under 2s.

For a person living in Europe – definitely not easy things to find around the house for most activities

Most activities aren’t suitable for under 2’s but there’s some super ideas for older toddlers.

Far too long explanations, that could be explained with a single picture on each page …My problem is that I have to read the whole page to get the idea of how to play …A picture would help to know if I even want to read it or not ..I got an other book called: Five minute mum, it has lots of pictures more and similar ideas and the ideas in my opinion are better.
