    Good for travel
We used this for my toddler when traveling on a plane, it was great. Kept her entertained and it wasn’t too loud/ bright for the airplane.

Must have for babies and toddlers!
This is the best invention and investment. It keeps babies to adults busy. The first one arrived with a chip on the wooden back which made me concerned for a splinter or could snag someone’s skin but I was easily able to send back and the new one arrived in perfect condition. I like how the lights are blindingly bright either.I will probably order a more challenging busy board as my baby gets older but this is very appropriate for 12 months of age and up.

    Great product!
This is light weight and pretty simple to use. I like how easy it is to install the batteries but the screws keep them safe from my 2yo. The buttons range from a plug to switches of different varieties and even a dial that has a dimming light. Some of the buttons take more strength which isnt too bad because it it trains finger strength. The toy itself teaches dexterity, and cause and affect. Im excited for her to get into it!

Techy Dad looking for something to inspire your kids? Try this!
This wooden busy-board is a fun addition to any child’s toy collection. It stimulates active hand-eye coordination as well as motor-function development. As a dad who likes to get stimulating toys for his children, I was looking for something different that could be both fun and educational. This seems to fit the bill.Pros:The many buttons, knobs and switches have multiple strength ratings enabling your child to develop strategies for how to turn them off/on. Some buttons (momentary on/off) are relatively easy to manipulate while others (hat switches, rocker switches) require more dexterity in the fingers to move. The bright colors and differences in switches allow the child to see the outcome of actions. “Turn on this switch, a bright red color comes on. Twist this knob, and the yellow color becomes brighter.”It is intriguing and makes you feel good as a parent when your child connects the input/output of their actions.Cons:There is one connection which is a small length of wire with a connector that has to be plugged into a slot to turn the light on. While certainly not long enough for a child to wrap around their neck, they may become interested to see what it tastes like. Ensure you, as a parent, are not allowing this behavior and redirect them to the other switches, buttons, etc.The battery box has a void which will allow the batteries (2 AAA batteries) to become dislodged if the board is dropped or thrown. As a resourceful dad, I made a wedge out of a piece of plastic that keeps tension on the batteries under their cover, to prevent them from being dislodged. A simple fix, but if you are not aware of this, you may think it is defective.Other than these 2 cons, the toy is very useful, worth the money, and adds value to playtime with your child.

    Perfect for busy toddlers
My toddler is 100mph all of the time, the second I handed her this she sat down and went to work trying to figure out how to do all of the different things.10/10 in this house!

Funa at first but stops working
This got lots of use from my toddler for several months but like the other reviewers said, the batteries pop out and the lights stop working so you have to unscrew the compartment constantly to adjust the batteries. However, we now have a new problem where only the red and yellow lights work now. The greens and blue lights don’t work at all anymore, even with fresh batteries. It was short lived fun anyway but I would have preferred something that lasted.

My kid loves this toy and when it’s working, it’s a great toy. However, the amount of times I’ve had to unscrew it to pop the batteries back in is ridiculous. It’s not even from being dropped as it’s on the foam mats 99% of the time. Something to keep in mind when purchasing!

The switch broke within 3 days. It was purchased earlier in the fall as a Christmas present. Amazon says the return window closed in November. I won’t be shopping for gifts on Amazon if that’s the timeline I have to go by.
