Easy to install
I bought this to get a head start on baby-proofing, and the installation was easier than I expected. I installed several pieces in under 20 minutes, and everything stuck well after wiping surfaces down first. No drilling or tools needed, which I really appreciated. The instructions were clear, parts were easy to match up, and nothing felt confusing or flimsy. Even without using it for a baby yet, it was nice to get things set up ahead of time without turning it into a project.

If you are looking to get a head start on making your home more secure for a little one, this safety bundle offers a nice variety of basic components. The quality of the materials is solid, especially the foam door stoppers and the clear corner guards which feel thick and durable. I found the adhesive used on the corner protectors and cabinet latches to have great adhesion, sticking firmly to the surfaces after a quick cleaning.When it comes to how easy it is to install, the process was quite fast. I was able to get several pieces set up in under twenty minutes without needing any tools or drilling. The magnetic locks are a standout feature for overall safety because they are hidden inside the cabinets and are very difficult for a toddler to figure out. They are very simple to use once you have the key in hand, and they provide a lot of peace of mind for keeping curious hands out of drawers.However, this is by no means a comprehensive kit. There are only a couple of each type of lock included, which really limits how much of a home you can actually cover. It might be something you could add to a gift basket or incorporate into a diaper cake for a baby shower, but it isn’t enough to fully proof a kitchen or a living room. For the current price, it feels a bit light on the number of pieces provided. It is a good first step for a very small area, like a single bathroom, but you will almost certainly need to buy additional supplies to finish the job.

This set works well for baby proofing a small area but is missing a LOT of what is needed to fully make a space safe, such as more outlet covers and cabinet locks. It feels like a kit for a bathroom lol. Everything does work well that is included so no issues with quality, just really check exactly what is included to be sure you wont need more later on!

Overall, I really like this “baby safety kit” from SafeBorn. It covers the basics like cabinets, drawers, outlets, doors, and sharp corners. The magnetic cabinet locks are the standout feature since they are sturdy effective and difficult for little hands to defeat once installed correctly. The corner protectors, door stoppers and outlet covers work as intended and feel secure. Installation is straightforward and even includes small tools and guides which makes setup less intimidating. It does not fully baby-proof a whole home, but it is a great first step. I think it is a reasonably good value – very happy with the kit.

Works, but not as complete as expected
This SafeBorn baby safety kit has a good variety of basic items for baby-proofing like cabinet locks, magnetic locks, outlet covers, and corner guards and they’re all decent quality. The magnetic locks are especially nice because they keep curious little hands out of cabinets. That said, it doesn’t feel like enough for the price. A lot of the individual pieces are ones you might buy separately in larger packs for less money, and some rooms in our house still need more coverage than what’s included here. The instructions could also be clearer, which made installation a bit trickier than it needed to be.

This is a convenient all in one solution baby safety kit. It includes everything you need to baby proof your space with easy to install items that seem to be made with good quality materials. Once everything is installed, it feels secure and reliable. The outlet covers are a simple item that do what they are supposed to do.The corner protectors have a strong adhesive that will not fall off when the baby touches it. You will appreciate having everything in one package and the functionality it offers. The price is a little high but the product itself is good and easy to use. If you have babies at home, I would consider getting one of these kits to keep them safe.
