I picked up the NumNum Baby Spoons Set (GOOtensils), and they’ve honestly been a game changer for introducing self-feeding.What makes these different from regular baby spoons is the flat, pre-spoon design. There’s no scooping or balancing involved—baby can just dip and bring it to their mouth. It really takes the frustration out of those early feeding stages and makes it easier for little ones to learn independently. The two-stage concept is also super helpful, since one works better for purees while the other handles thicker foods as they progress.The silicone material feels high quality and safe, and I like that it’s BPA-, PVC-, and phthalate-free. It’s soft enough for teething gums but still sturdy enough that it doesn’t flop around like some other silicone spoons. ()Another big plus is the ergonomic handle—it’s thick and easy for tiny hands to grip, and there’s really no “wrong way” to hold it, which is perfect for beginners. Must Have for Starting Solids and Self Feeding
These spoons made starting solids and self-feeding so much easier for us! The flat design is perfect for little hands since there’s really no “wrong” way for baby to hold them. We loved that they actually grab onto purées and soft foods, which helped reduce frustration during feeding. They’re lightweight, easy to clean, and soft enough for teething gums too. Highly Recommend for New Eaters!
We love these spoons so much, we’ve bought a second set! It’s perfect for giving our little guy sensory input with purées, and is the perfect size for him to learn how to feed himself. It holds up great despite banging on the high chair and washing multiple times a day, and hasn’t stained! The neon colors are the best!

Overall good product!
Overall we LOVE these spoons. I will say I’ve noticed though that sometimes I think there’s either mold or food that can get stuck in the crevices around the handle. I just use my nail and get it out.

My son’s preferred spoons
I bought multiple types of baby spoons to see which ones my son would like best for baby lead weaning. It look a few days, but this spoon was the easiest for him to hold and actually stick in his mouth on his own (just turned 7 months). The spoons that have the hole in them are nice, you can stuff them with food and baby can put it in his mouth on his own. They’re not too long. The other spoons were a bit long and he kept smacking his ears with the spoons. This one is the perfect length. Definitely recommend for baby led weaning. I would get more than the 3 once you find out your baby likes these. They get dropped on the deep a lot

My little guy has been loving these! They fit perfectly in his tiny little hands, lightweight and give him confidence when he feeds himself, we’re new to solids and purées and these pick up good sized portions for new eaters, overall, happy.

My baby girl loves using these during baby led weaning and has done so since she was 6 months old! It’s easy to use, easy to clean (I usually just place it in the dishwasher) and made of safe material which I love. It’s excellent for her tiny hands as it’s not too big and she’s able to practice holding utensils. 100% worth the price!
