I gave this Nuliie maternity support belt as a baby shower gift to a friend who’s in her second trimester and already dealing with some lower back and pelvic discomfort. Since I’m not the one wearing it, this is based on what she’s told me after using it for a while.She says the lift under the belly is definitely noticeable, especially on days when she’s on her feet a lot. It helps take some of the pressure off her lower back and pelvis and lets her stay active longer before she starts feeling worn down. It doesn’t fix everything, but it takes the edge off that constant pulling feeling that builds up over the day.It’s more structured than the simpler bands. The back panel sits firmly against her lower spine, and the shoulder straps help keep it from sliding down. That extra support helps, but it also means there’s a bit of a learning curve getting everything adjusted right at first.She did mention the material is pretty thick and can feel warm, especially indoors. It’s also a little scratchy on bare skin, so she wears it over a shirt. Sitting in it for longer periods isn’t very comfortable either since the more rigid parts can press in, so she mostly uses it when she knows she’ll be up and moving around.The Velcro is very strong and keeps everything in place, but it’s loud when you take it off and can catch on clothing. Some of the adjustment tabs have started to curl a bit at the edges too, which can snag on softer fabrics. It hasn’t been used long enough to say how it will hold up over time, but there are already small signs of wear.At around the $30 range, it feels like a fair value for the level of structure and support it provides, especially if you’re looking for something more supportive than a basic band.Overall, she’s found it genuinely helpful when she needs extra support, especially on more active days. It’s not something she wears all day, but when she uses it, it does what it’s supposed to do.4 out of 5 — solid support and noticeable relief, with tradeoffs in comfort, warmth, and bulk.

Excellent Support That Actually Stays Put
So I have had this for about a month now and I am genuinely impressed with how much of a difference it makes on days when everything just feels heavy and uncomfortable. What sets this one apart from the basic belly bands is the shoulder straps. Instead of everything relying on tight pressure around the belly, this actually helps lift some of the weight and spread it out better. I noticed the relief in my lower back pretty much right away.Once you get it adjusted where you want it, it stays put really well. I did not have issues with it constantly sliding down or rolling up on me, which is one of my biggest complaints with support bands in general. The back support is also nice because it adds some structure without feeling like a stiff brace.The material is thicker than a super basic band, but it still feels soft and comfortable, and I have not found it unbearably hot. I would probably wear it over a light layer if I knew I was going to have it on for a while, just for extra comfort. The tradeoff is worth it to me because the support is noticeably better than the flimsier styles.It does take a little bit of trial and error the first time you put it on to get the straps and tension right, but after that it is easy enough to use. I also like that there is plenty of adjustability, so it feels like something that can keep working as your body changes instead of becoming useless too quickly.Overall, I think this is a really good value for the level of support, comfort, and adjustability you get. If you need something that gives more lift than a standard wraparound band, this one has been a great help for me.

Cost-Effective Belly Band
I’m 5’6” and around 180 lbs, and I ordered both the Medium for my current second-trimester size and a Large for later in pregnancy. So far, I’ve been using this belly band for about 2 months and have been really happy with it, especially for the price (it was on sale for $8.99 when I purchased it).What I like most is that the support feels more lifted than squeezed. The shoulder straps help distribute the weight better compared to some standard belly bands that just compress around the waist. It provides noticeable support for my lower back and abdomen during longer days on my feet without feeling overly restrictive. The material is lightweight and breathable, and it stays in place fairly well throughout the day without constantly rolling, shifting, or chaffing.

Aktuell bin ich in der 30ten Schwangerschaftswoche und habe ca. 5 Kilogramm zugenommen. Mein Bauchumfang liegt bei 112, daher habe ich mir die Größe M bestellt. Da die Angabe von 100-120 cm ging, hatte ich die Befürchtung, dass es zu groß oder klein ist, aber die Angabe kommt daher zustande, dass die seitlichen Klettbänder variabel verstellbar sind. Um die Schultergurte nicht über den Brüsten liegen zu haben, habe ich rechts und links je einen Zentimeter eingeschlagen und muss gestehen, dass ich die Befürchtung hatte, dass es zu Druckstellen oder Reiben kommt – aber nichts. Selbst nach einem ganzen Tag tragen habe ich keine Scheuerstellen, oder Reibung wahrnehmen können.Da ich recht aktiv bin hatte ich ebenfalls die Befürchtung, dass der Gurt schnell verrutscht, aber einmal unter dem Bauch angebracht sitzt er einwandfrei und stört im Tagesgeschäft gar nicht. Toilettengänge sind unproblematisch und mein absolutes Highlight: Ich hatte vor ca. 10 Jahren mehrere OPs der Bandscheiben im Lendenbereich und dort immer wieder Probleme, wenn ich zu schwer hebe, zu lange Rücken-ungerechte-Bewegungen mache, oder einfach längere Zeit keinen Sport gemacht habe. Seit ca. einer Woche scheint das Gewicht des Bauches zu sehr nach vorne ausgelegt zu sein und die Standard-Schmerzen kamen zurück.Durch tragen des Gurtes über den Tag habe ich abends KEINE Schmerzen.Einziges kleines Manko, dass die Klettverschlüsse vorne etwas abstehen und nicht sehr gut für „schicke Garderobe“ geeignet sind. Ich war einen längeren Abend ohne Gurt unterwegs und musste dann leider mit Ziehen im Rücken und Schmerzen in der Lende ins Bett gehen. Also besser ein Gurt, der sich abzeichnet, als das!

My partner and I found this to be a very supportive maternity belt, particularly on days when a firmer level of support felt genuinely helpful. There are stages in pregnancy when that extra hold around the bump and lower back is very welcome, and this certainly provides it. If firmness is what you are after, this does the job very well.That said, it is not the most flexible option in every position. Depending on how you are sitting or moving, it can need a little readjustment to keep it comfortable. The positive side is that it is easy enough to alter, so you can adapt the fit throughout the day as needed.My skin is very sensitive, so I prefer to wear something soft between this and my skin to avoid irritation. Even with that, I still found it useful and supportive overall. It offers very good structure and adjustability, though it may not suit those wanting a softer, more flexible feel.
