Great update!
We have the older green version of this sound machine in two kids’ bedrooms, and bought this updated version for our baby’s bedroom. All 3 have the same sounds, which matters to me because kids can be fussy with little changes like that. I think both the sound and quality of the new product are superior, and I’m very pleased with my purchase. I really, really like that this version has buttons instead of knobs. After a few hundred falls on the floor, and a move to a new house, the knobs don’t always work. There are no such issues with the buttons. It’s also easy to control the volume, which I appreciate.Above and beyond the technical aspects of this sound machine, I’d also like to just say that this is a fantastic device for parent peace of mind. It’s HARD getting kids to go to sleep and stay asleep. Especially if you live in a smaller house, older house, or just make noise after your kids go to bed. This sound machine is a lifesaver for providing enough white noise to keep littles asleep without being annoying or headache-inducing. We primarily use the “white noise” setting, but none of the sounds are offensive. My kids now stay asleep through sibling wakeups, storms, loud movies, vacuuming, cleaning, visitors coming and going, and other loud noises. Do yourself a favor, and add some security to your nighttime routine!

Great White Noise Machine
We have bought 3 of these (for different locations) and they have lasted for years. We’ve had one of them for about 4 years? It gets kicked around and played with by the kids and it works great. Just be sure your kids don’t hit the timer button before you walk away if you don’t want a timer set. We just use the white noise sound but the others are nice too, especially the ocean sound. By far our favorite sound machine. Can be really quiet or nice and loud.

STILL GOING STRONG AFTER 2 YEARS
We bought this when we do found out we were having a second kid and needed another noise machine. We have used this in our sons room since he was 3. He’s now 5 and it’s still working great to keep him asleep during the night. This sound machine has travelled all over the place with us from Hawaii, to Canada, Utah, Arizona, California, and all over Washington. It’s slim and easy to stick in a suit case. There is still a cord to plug in but that’s also good thing since we run our machine all night, every night and batteries just wouldn’t last that long. This does not have a night light or projector, which may be a negative for some but we have a light changing oil diffuser in each kids room that serves as their night light so it hasn’t bothered us. The older machine in our daughter’s room has a projector and it’s much bulkier to travel with. Overall, we have no complaints here! We don’t hear any weird sounds in the white noise setting, which is what we use every night. The other sounds are great too. Our kids just sleep better to the static rather than rainstorms, oceans or lullabies.

Good product
This works well….meaning, the different sounds are good for baby. For me, as an adult, there are some funky background noises with the “crickets/peepers in the woods”. Not sure if it is supposed to be water or what.I bought this unit because a friend has it for their baby. It has worked for 2 years with no issues so I decided to try it. Easy to use. Good ocean sound. Good white noise sound. Wish it has more sound choices. Great volume control and timer settings….15/30/1hr/ continual.. settings.

Great product.Pros:Good variety of noises.Had the heartbeat sound both our children loved when they were newborns.It uses batteries or plug in. I’ve had sound machines for one or the other but both has been very helpful for home/travel with the kids.Loud enough that we normally don’t put it to full volume.Cons:There is a noticeable sound loop. I only notice it when I’m doing late night feeding with the kids and I’m sitting there focusing on it. Otherwise I don’t notice it.Interesting:The heartbeat sound is a little funky but still effective.Buttons make a clicking sound. Didn’t bother us but it is pretty loud.

Got this for my 1 year old son for when we travel. It’s a lifesaver and I’d definitely order again, even given a couple flaws.Pros: portability, price, battery or ac adapter, slim design, variety of sounds (we only use white noise though)Cons: volume – I feel like it’s loud. The lowest volume is too low, but going one up seems like a big jump. Doesn’t seem to be too loud for my son though so it works. When you plug it in to the wall and turn it on, the default sound is lullaby and loud. Once you change it, it’ll keep that setting even when turned off, as long as you keep it plugged in. I didn’t realize this at first and laid my son down and then turned it on. The lullaby startled both of us. Not an issue once you figure this out.

We had the sound machine for years! Just buy it! Other sounds are great but phoneApps can be problematic when traveling. My entire family uses this machine. Light weight, small, portable with battery access if needed. Buy it, put it on and let your baby, kid or YOU get the sleep and rest you deserve!
