These are better than Fridamom’s for icing/comfort but seem too flimsy for heat
I compared these side by side with the fridamom ones for icing and prefer these. The fridamoms come in a crazy-thick, non-removable lining which isn’t as flexible and comfy as these. (FM’s are also a bit too big/bulky for my C-cups but they work, MC is just a bit smaller and way more flexible.) FM’s might be better for heat which I haven’t tried yet and more resilient in general since they’re so thick, but so far MC is better for icing and more flexible by far which I prefer. The MCs come with a little cotton sleeve which you can take off to get some extra moments of icy cool whereas the FM ones just tap out sooner for cold and there’s nothing you can do but call it a day. Plus these ones can offer a more extreme icing right off the bat if you just leave the cotton sleeve off entirely, whereas the FM ones top off at a much less extreme temp since their casing is so thick. Both have been fine, I wouldn’t be surprised at all if these are less durable for heat though, they might just melt lol. I’ve only been using these to chill a bit after colostrum harvesting, but if the ladies were *truly* pissed off I might be more disappointed in the cold output from the FM ones and prefer these for more extreme cold, better longevity and more flexibility forming to the boob. These are the winners so far, but I’m definitely a hesitant about accidentally melting them if I do decide to try heat…. If you really want to do warm applications I’d do Fridamoms or just make your own microwave rice pads, these ones probably shouldn’t be trusted under heat stress.

Buy this immediately
I have suffered with engorged breast, as well as plugged milk ducts. They’re both very painful! I tried buying the Haaka to release the clogged milk and it made it worse. I bought these and refrigerated them a few hours. They worked really well. I used the heat and hated it. It made both situations worse. My lactation specialist said not to apply heat. Heat is an outdated method that causes more issues. My breasts have been to sensitive to apply ice to them, the refrigerator has been more tolerable. I highly recommend these. Keep the fabric on them while applying the packs to your skin. I didn’t do that and it got stuck to my skin, I had to peel it off. It hurt. Always use the fabric when using the packs. I store them in a ziplock bag and throw them in the refrigerator, to keep them clean and moisture free. I used these at least once every couple of hours to help with my issues. It works. Must buy! Don’t hesitate.

Does the job
I have semi larger breasts and these fit perfect. I wear a 36 D for reference. They don’t exactly fit perfectly around my nipples but they do on my breasts which is where I need the heat/ice.I have used it in the microwave and I had no issue and it held heat for my entire pump session. I put them in the freezer after and they did not explode.

A must have for breastfeeding
This is a must-buy for anyone in their breastfeeding journey. They look big at first, but they actually fit the breast really well and feel comfortable to wear. After a long workday, when I’m really full, using them cold is honestly a lifesaver — the pressure eases right away, and I even feel like I pump more afterward. They’re easy to wash, simple to use, and heat or cool quickly. Truly one of the best investments I’ve made for my comfort during lactation.

Nice but not great.
Great to increase milk letdown while breastfeeding/pumping. Only used twice and pads have ruptured. I warmed in the microwave for 1 minute.

Postpartum essential!!
Loved these postpartum. I used them cold only as i was trying to dry up my supply. They were comfortable and the shape provided great coverage. I wish they had come with more covers because I was leaking so much milk it was necessary to wash the covers after every use. I ended not using the covers and wearing two bras and nursing pads. They worked great between two sports bras

Not as durable as I expected
One of mine popped in the freezer for seemingly no reason. Can’t be sure if user error or issues with the product, but not super durable in either case. Was great while it lasted.

Excellent quality. Love how you can heat them up or put them in the freezer for cold relief. Every mama needs these!
Laura –
I’ve tried a few options and these are the best! They are perfect size and they keep warm long enough
Krista –
DO NOT MICROWAVE, it says they can handle it but nope. Only use if you are going to boil the water otherwise they will melt/ pop quickly. I loved the size of them.

Item broke after second use despite following instructions. Waste of money…
MCAY –
Arrived late despite Amazon Prime status. Also despite following instructions for power and duration for microwave, it developed a hole and leaked the gel with second use. Especially when using with a baby feeding on the area, this is a safety concern. Would not recommend this product.
