Such an adorable gift for the 6 month old, my nephew loved it! it’s very soft, safe, easy to use. I was surprised at how well made it was and it was much larger than I thought, which is a great thing because he will also use this during tummy time! so adorable! Always make the best products!

Great developmental baby toy
This is such a great, soft/plush toy! My baby loves the bright colors and the different noise making textures of the scales that lift up to reveal ocean animals. It would make a great baby shower gift! It even has a squeaker on one side of the tail fin and the other side is a chew toy. This makes a great developmental toy!

Simple but so engaging for babies!
Got this for my daughter a few months ago and it’s become one of her favorite toys. She loves exploring all the different colors, textures, and little flaps — it keeps her entertained and curious. The quality is great too, it’s held up really well to all the grabbing and chewing a baby puts it through!Melissa & Doug never disappoints. A great sensory toy for little ones!

Cute and my baby likes it. 2 minor issues
My 7 month old baby seems to really enjoy this toy. My only 2 complaints are:-it’s bigger/thicker than I thought it would be. Like, almost too big/thick. When she’s in her car seat, it’s so big that it covers her lap, and it’s big enough that it tends to fall out of her car seat while she’s playing with it. I guess I assumed it would be more flat and thin (like more of a play mat type look than a thick plushie look), but it’s pretty big, and honestly seems a bit too big for my baby (who is very much average sized for her age). Like she honestly looks sort of comical holding it. If it were thinner/more bendable, I think it would be easier for her to hold. It’s just so thick and large that it’s hard for her to maneuver. If it were thinner or smaller, I think she would be able to play with it more.-This may be user-error on my part, but figured I would mention it just to warn anyone else who is purchasing it: when I first got it I put it through the washer and dryer (as I do for every toy I buy for her). After I took it out, I noticed that the little mirror was ruined—it was no longer reflective or mirror-like. Almost like it was fogged over, but I couldn’t rub it or scratch it back to how it originally was. This was slightly disappointing, because now you can’t see any reflection when you look in it.Would I buy this toy again or recommend it to others? Honestly, probably not. But she does seem to enjoy it, so I’m still giving it 4 stars.

Quality, size
Our 6mth old loved this fish. It is larger than expected. She still plays with it at 10 months. She enjoys the ‘scales’ that can be manipulated. Great for the car. Super quality. Soft and has different textures.

Baby loves this! One of her favorite toys. The sounds of the crunch of the material and the colours and sensations and mirror makes it an interesting and fun activity for babies. My grandaughter played with this starting at 4 months.
