Unreliable!
This is the second Pump in Style I purchased or got through insurance since my son was born in May 2025. The first stopped suctioning reliably. I had to turn it on/off, press increase/decrease suction or stimulation buttons to trick it into working. I thought it was a fluke since I used Medela Pump in Style Advanced for my first two babies, years ago. I didn’t have the time/patience to wait for customer service so I ordered the Pro version. It’s doing the same thing! I am so disappointed in Medela after the experiences with these two pumps that have less than two months of use on each pump. And it’s so stressful not knowing whether your pump will work when you go to use it. Thank god I have a wearable pump as a backup. It saved me multiple times now. Looking at other brands of pumps now for a reliable, electric pump.

Compact and easy to use! 🤩
I absolutely love the Medela Pump In Style Pro. It’s super easy to use right out of the box! The compact design is a huge plus. I take it with me to work regularly, and it’s small enough to bring along to restaurants or a night out without it being clunky or awkwardly taking up space. I’ve learned to pump in some funny places – and it’s all because of the convenience of a compact, easy to use (even one handed) breast pump!The quality is excellent and it truly feels like it lives up to the “hospital-grade” standard Medela is known for. It’s efficient, reliable, and comfortable to use. This pump has been an incredibly helpful companion in my breastfeeding journey, and I’m so grateful to have had it during this season. Not reliable long term!
It worked great…when it worked! My first one lasted two months before the suction stopped. No problem, must be a fluke, and they replaced it. Had the replacement for about a month, no problems whatsoever, until tonight when it wouldn’t turn on for my last pump of the night! Used it every day, up to 6x a day for the last month and now it quits on me. I like the pump and I get better output than with other wall pumps but I need to be able to rely on a pump to last me til the end of my pumping journey!

Best pump for the money!
This pump is hands down the best one for the money! I (stupidly) bought a cheaper brand for about half the price and it petered out in a week (and I only pump twice a day!). I have had earlier versions of the medela and pumped exclusively with my first child. The first one I had handled all of the wear and tear for 6 months, before I bought a replacement. Fast forward 8 years and I’m wowed. The pump is smaller, quieter, and amazing. I was able to pump over six ounces in a matter of minutes. It’s easy to clean and store the pumped milk in the collection bottles. The varying degrees of strength are wonderful, and it is small enough to store. I wish I hadn’t wasted my time or money on the other brand pump a week ago… Medela is the way to go!

Not my favorite but not bad
Works decently however I find it doesn’t fully empty the breast and can be a little rough on the nipples even with the correct flange. Still a decent pump but not my favorite.

User friendly, 10 out of 10 recommend
This pump has been my best friend. I recently bought a hand pump in this brand but it wasnt for me. While breastfeeding hasn’t been painful for me at all I wanted a pump to help me so that I could store milk foe the middle of the night. The handpump made me bleed and it caused to much pain. iwas scared to use this pump after that experience. This pump is user friendly and while it mildly mimics the baby feeding it causes no pain and is super easy to use. I will be recommending this to all my mom friends who plan on breastfeeding especially for the first time!!

I bought this pump a month ago, e for now, everything is going great! I was using the “Symphony” model from the hospital, and chose this one to replace it.In the beginning, I was getting just 20 ml less per pump. Symphony costs 4K or $100 per month in the hospital I was admitted, so it a great budget friendly option, with very good outputs for me.While using it, my output actually increased (now I’m getting 100ml per pump), but being honest, I’m not quite sure if it was the pump or other reasons. Either way, my experience was good and I’m glad I chose this pump.Cons: it’s not very sturdy after you plug the air tube, so I lost a few ml every time I tried to put the bottles on the table while connected with the pump. Also, you might need to buy a different size flange, to make sure it fits your nipple properly. In this one, they don’t give you a nipple measuring sheet, which came into my wearable and it’s really helpful. Added to that, the cables (air tube + energy cable) disconnect easily.

The pump does not turn on. The AC/DC power supply does work. Unless the product got damage during shipping (no signs of external damage), this seems like terrible quality control. I guess this is the quality we can expect from products made in the United States.Customer service is provided by the manufacturer. A new product will take at least 5 days to arrive since it has to go through customs. We do not have that time.

I bought the Medela Pump In Style New Pro for my wife, and it has been fantastic. She noticed a real improvement in milk output compared to her previous pump. The suction is strong and consistent, and the design is compact enough to use comfortably at home or pack up to bring with you!The PersonalFit Plus breast shields work well for her, and the pump feels efficient without being overly loud.
