I used this not for a pregnant belly, but for lymphatic drainage.
I tried to get a good photo of this maternity belly band in use, but I didn’t want to show too much of my body, and the belly band ends up, kind of fading into the blackness of my pants. I hope you can still kind of see it if you’re reading this review.I did not buy this belly band for a pregnancy. I am well past my pregnancy days, and I wanted to use this for a different purpose; lymphatic drainage.I am a mother of adult children who were very large babies. One was 11 pounds exactly, and one was 1 ounce shy of 10 pounds. Those pregnancies really stretched my belly out, and it never slimmed down or tightened up. Part of that is my own fat, but a large part of it is an issue I have with lymph. I don’t drain well on my own, and the “apron belly” I was left with after my giant babies hangs down over lymph nodes, and presses against them. That means I have a difficult time draining lymph below that area, so my legs and ankles and feet get swollen very easily, and lymph draining exercises like calf raises and rebounding on a trampoline don’t do much for me.So, I used this belly band in a slightly different configuration than a pregnant woman would. It’s more difficult to get an apron belly lifted up than it is a pregnant belly. I can’t exactly describe how I did it, because I don’t really have a name for the parts of the belly band that hook and loop connect together, but I will say that it was a big experiment, and that I did get a pretty good configuration that helped me with lymphatic drainage. But everybody is different, so if you buy this and want to use it for lymphatic drainage purposes, you’ll probably have to come up with your own configuration based on the size and squishiness of your belly. Once I got my own configuration right, the support was nice, and really did help.This product is well built. The materials are high-quality, the stitching is well done, and I feel that it is a durable product. I’m not entirely sure how long the hook and loop part will last because I’ve only had it long enough to use a few times. But so far it is holding up quite well.So, I’m here to say that this is a multi use product. I didn’t use it in a conventional way, but it works for what I wanted to use it for. I do think that if I bought it again, I would go a size smaller, though, for a little bit more support for a very heavy belly.

I got this maternity belly band for added belly support, and it has been very helpful. I wanted something that could provide support for the back, hips, and pelvic area as well, without feeling too restrictive, and this has worked well for that. I like it because it is adjustable, lightweight, and comfortable enough for regular wear. It seems like a good value, and I would recommend it and would order it again.I ordered the beige color in XX-Large, and the design gives broad support around the midsection. The 3-in-1 style is useful because it helps distribute weight and gives extra support where it is often needed most. I like that it is adjustable with hook-and-loop closures, which makes it easier to get a more customized fit as needed. It feels supportive without being overly bulky, and it works well for wearing during daily activities like walking, standing, errands, or household tasks. The material is breathable polyester fiber with elastic mesh sections, and it feels lightweight while still giving structure and support. The “large” is for 5-7 months pregnant/small circumference bellies!
Comfortable and breathable material. Adjustable with the velcro. Having multiple pieces makes it feel more complicated than it needs to be.There’s a front panel of material that goes around the belly and a back piece that is mesh-like that provides the back support. Thirdly there’s an elastic strap for the upper belly. The elastic bands are also the mesh-like material.It’s a good value but the sizing descriptions are annoying. Silly to call the smallest belly band size a “large” which is what I got. According to my research the average circumference at 7 months pregnant is 36-40 inches. The “large” is a max of 36 inches. If you want to use this belly band in the 8-9 month stage of pregnancy I would highly recommend getting one of the bigger bands or measuring first!
