Paint with water coloring pages
I believed that the child used water on the picture and it turned colors. I did not realize there was paint areas at top of each page so child could color the picture whatever color they wanted. I like that idea, but you do need to be prepared for more of a mess and would need to sit with a 3-yr old to help him dap the paint color then paint the picture. So it is a bit messier than just water turning the picture colors, but it is more creative and good for children to move ahead with their artistic abilities, as long as they have some assistance, depending on age and ability of child. I also liked each page is perforated so can be removed to hang on a frig or wall. I believe this is a good gift to give an age-appropriate child.

Nice Paint with Water book for grandson. The paper is thick and there is an insert for the brush. I purchased this one and another brand and honestly like the other better. The paint for this book is very sheer. Painting is difficult due to the lack of pigment.
