Works great. Even my 4 year old hasn’t gotten to be able to open these yet. I used the multifunction strap for our cabinet trash can because the cabinet specific one didn’t fit. It’s very easy to use, just measure for strap length, peel, and stick. Make sure when measuring for the strap one that you leave a little room on the strap to get it to actually open. If you leave it too tight you might have trouble getting it open. I’m not sure how long it will last or how easy it is to remove. I also used the refrigerator one as my 2 year old keeps getting into the mini fridge and leaving it open. That one is holding well so far as well. I actually appreciate that it comes with plug covers because they are definitely a large part of child safety. Our current home has a fault of open ground, which is absolutely terrifying with toddlers (electrician incoming). I also appreciate the anti-tip items that have dual screw in setup. If you can manage to use just one screw-in piece and just zip tie the furniture, you get double the use (just need another 6 zip ties). This would make a great gift for first time parents so they can try out different styles of safety and see what they may need to invest more in. It’s a great set and it’s worth investing into your child’s safety.

What a great find—everything we needed in one place. The price might look slightly high at first, but I truly think it’s worth it because it’s basically one-stop shopping. If I had tried to buy all of these pieces separately, I’m confident I would’ve spent more (and it would’ve taken a lot more time to compare options). The kit includes a comprehensive variety of child locks and safety solutions, and since we’re right in the thick of having small grandchildren around, this has been the perfect answer for curious little minds and busy hands.My biggest needs right now were the outlet covers and the cabinet door safety latches—and both work perfectly. The latches use 3M adhesive strips that hold extremely well, and with the clear instructions, I had them installed in minutes. It’s such a relief not having to worry about little ones sneaking behind the counter or exploring places they shouldn’t. I also really like that the outlet covers are clear and low-profile—you can hardly tell they’re there, but you still have a clear view of the outlet.There are several other really valuable pieces included, too. Even if I don’t use every single item today, I love knowing I already have them on hand for the next stage. The kit includes solutions for door handles and refrigerators, plus connectors to help secure tippy bookcases or furniture, along with two sliding window wedges. It feels like a thoughtfully assembled set that covers more than just the basics.One unexpected bonus: I’m going to use some of these in my camper as well—not for little ones, but for travel. When we’re on the road (especially off-road), I’ve struggled over the years to keep doors and items securely closed, and this set is a welcome addition for keeping stored items and food where they belong. Great variety, but I’d skip the basic plug covers
You get a big mix of different types of locks and covers, which I liked. It lets you try out what actually works for your cabinets, drawers, and doors instead of committing to just one style.That said, not everything is going to fit every space. Some of the latches worked great for me, while others didn’t line up right depending on the cabinet style. That’s pretty normal with these kinds of kits, but it’s something to expect.The adhesive pieces stick well once they’re on, so placement matters. I’d definitely test the position before pressing them down fully, because they’re not easy to move once set.The only thing I didn’t really care for were the outlet plug covers. They’re the basic insert style, which work fine, but I personally prefer just swapping out the wall plates for the kind with built-in sliding covers. Those are easier day-to-day and you don’t have to keep up with loose pieces.
