We love this book. I bought it about a year ago now, and have a 4 and 2 year old. I’ve had a great time preparing for play and it’s so encouraging to see children using their imagination. Some of the items have taken a bit more time and thought to prepare than others, but overall very happy with the purchase

Useful little books with some crafts I had not come across before. Perfect if you’re a good sewer or particularly crafty. I was happy to give some of these a go, but many are beyond my ability.Great snippets about the benefits of certain play activities (although brief). My son has loved the few bits I have made for him.

although I can see this being very good for someone who does a lot of crafts this is not a book for me. I barely know how to sew and don’t have any of the knowledge or equipment to knit and so a whole section of this book is wasted on me. although there are some good ideas I feel that far too many of the actitives require you to go out of your way to get something you might not nessessarliy have, I was hoping for a more basic book with actitives such as “drumming with pots and pans” or pom pom pick up where you use tweezer to pick up and move pom poms for 1 place to another. But can see how this would benefit some people who can create things.
