The Fit2 Adapt Infant & Toddler Car Seat utilizes an innovative humidity-regulating fabric with patented 37.5 Technology to help control your child’s microclimate, keeping them cooler when it’s warm and warmer when it’s cold.
In Stage 1, the Fit2 Adapt functions like a traditional rear-facing infant car seat, offering more reclined seating with removable head and body support to accommodate newborns and smaller infants from birth to 12 months. In Stage 2, the Fit2 Adapt easily transitions into a rear-facing toddler car seat, offering a more upright seating position for toddlers from 9 to 24 months – without taking up extra space in the vehicle. Fit2 Adapt baby car seat features patented 37.5 Technology to draw away moisture and help maintain an ideal core body temperature. This innovative, humidity-regulating fabric is permanently embedded with naturally derived volcanic mineral particles to regulate your child’s microclimate – speeding evaporation to help cool or returning the body’s own infrared energy to help warm.
For an ideal newborn car seat, the removable head and body support for newborns and smaller infants features reversible knit/mesh fabrics for all-season comfort.
The Fit2 Adapt includes ReclineSure spring-loaded leveling foot that works in tandem with RideRight bubble levels to easily verify and achieve proper base angle during installation. Premium LATCH connectors and a force-multiplying SuperCinch LATCH tightener help achieve a secure fit with a fraction of the effort. The base is also designed with easy belt routing and integrated lock-offs for alternate installation with the vehicle seat belt. Integrated European belt routing provides 3-points of contact for a secure, carrier-only install. An integrated anti-rebound bar increases surface contact between the base and vehicle seat for added support and a more secure install.
2-STAGE BASE – Convert the included rear-facing car seat base from Stage 1 Infant Position to Stage 2 Toddler Position, making it easy to stay rear-facing for the first 2 years with extended leg room and more upright, spacious seating. So easy to get a perfect install every time!
This seat is dummy proof which is sooo great for a tired momma. It has a seatbelt lock off which is so fantastic if you’re doing a center install or need to install with the seatbelt; the latch system is literally the best on the market that I’ve seen-even a 42 week pregnant me was able to install with their super easy system. The seat itself seems comfortable and cushy. The sunshade is top notch with its extended length and ability to pull it to where it’s actually needed. The one hand handle adjuster is so helpful when you’ve got you’re hands full and the fact that my little will probably be in this until she’s 2.5years old is so nice! Thanks chicco-you hit this one out of the park!

Safe, secure, and easy to use
We love the Chicco brand of car seats and strollers. This purchase was to replace our older KeyFit car seat and base. Love the upgrades that have been made with the KeyFit2. One is the one-handed adjustable handle for the car seat. This makes it so much easier to move the position of the handle when you are holding your baby, since you only need one hand to squeeze the locking mechanism. The other upgrade we love is the changing position of the base to grow with the child. This newer base has an infant position and a toddler position, so the time we can use this car seat and base will be longer, before transitioning to a larger car seat for bigger toddler. The padding and cushioning inside car seat also seems more secure, fuller, and softer than the older KeyFits. The car seat easily clicks to fit in all of our Chicco strollers…we have 3.

Best car seat!
So so comfortable! Very well built. I like that it adjusts up to 24hr the of age! Click adjustable so no finagling with removing straps and having to thread them through. It is a little heavy but it’s well built so that makes sense. I wish it came with a stroller for the price. Will update after using it with baby.

One that will last
I had the older model of this six years ago and used it for three kids. We were hard on it but it stayed nice and washed well. It expired this year, right before I had my fourth. I thought maybe I should try something new and lighter weight. Nope. I hated it (maxi cosi 🫣). I returned it at gt this one. Here’s why:Fabric quality. It looks nice and it’s a. Neoprene texture which gives added padding to the baby. Every single one of my kids has loved this car seat. People said they must just be car seat babies but since I tried that Maxi cosi in between this one I know it’s not the case.Price overall I feel like this is higher end mid level but that’s all I need. I don’t want to spend $500+ for something that my kid is just going to puke on but I also want them to be safe and happy.You can adjust the overhead bar with one hand. I didn’t know that that was something car seats didn’t come with.It’s new parent friendly. That newborn insert is so cozy.It clicks into the base nicely.Not the cutest thing out there. But oh well 🤷♀️It is a little heavier than some others on the market, but what’s an extra pound or two if they’re comfortable and not screaming in the car?I have it 4 stars only because I don’t believe the 5 star reviews are real and I’m sure other people feel the same. I’m not paid for this I just really do love the car seat.

Did its job
I’ve used this seat now for two kids, bought an exact replacement for it after a crash my wife and kids were involved in. Vehicle was totaled but everyone inside was fine. My 6 month old daughter was kept safe in this seat, so I bought it again to replace the one that was recommended for disposal after the crash. My son was also in a Chicco seat (Fit4) and he was fine as well. Highly recommend this brand of child seats.
