Overall I’m very happy with this baby food processor set. The processor itself is powerful enough to work with foods that you’d usually prepare for babies, and since it’s a press down operation you can just chop lightly all the way to making a puree. It’s not quite strong enough to make almond butter for example without overheating but I was able to make walnut butter very easily, so the softer the food to start with the better it will be on the motor. So I wouldn’t be utilizing this the same way you would a bigger processor, but for baby food it works very well. It can turn nuts into small pieces or powder as well without overheating so it’s really just anything that requires a long duration of run time.I like the accessories, particularly the containers. The larger ones are a nice size for dry ingredients like making oat flour or nut powders, or for when baby is eating larger portions and goes through food more quickly. The small ones would be good for freezing but I haven’t done that yet, but the inner silicone is very smooth which I like for scooping the food out. Having the plastic tray to place them in is nice although not something I’ve used either yet. It comes with a catchy bib and spoon which are fine but I found the bib to be a bit thinner and narrower around the shoulders than my preference and the spoon a bit too deep for baby’s current age. But both are still usable and good quality. I love that it came with a small cleaning brush too since I can also use that as a dedicated baby dinnerware cleaning brush and it fits well into each of her provided items.The only real negatives are that a) the cup sleeve that wraps around the processor cup is incredibly hard to remove, b) i would have preferred a silicone spatula, and c) the blade piece has an open cavity at the top that food can get caught in. I’ve actually started using it without the sleeve, since you do want to remove it when cleaning because water will get between both, but I’m always worried I’ll break a nail or have one of the pieces fly out of my hands and break. It works fine without it so I wish that part was made to be easier to remove. With the open gap in the blade area you need to be really careful loading ingredients because you can’t place the blade in after adding the food.Overall very happy with this set and I’ve made a number of smaller recipes like pancakes and a “cheesecake”, sometimes you’d just need to make 2 batches since it’s small. But I love that it’s more compact, and i really didn’t need something with a steaming component when I can do that on my stove top and save counter space. Would make for a cute gift to expecting parents!Rated 4.5/5 but rounded up to 5.
